Date: March 29, 2024 Time: 21:29:01

In Spain there are almost 100 Paradores in truly majestic places. They are found in medieval castles, convents, palaces or natural parks. In the historic center, by the sea or on top of a mountain. Not all of them are open in winter, but most are, which are ideal for a getaway and disconnect from the daily routine.

Of the 98 paradores (97 in Spain plus a franchise in Portugal), the most expensive is the one in Granada, where a night for two people in a standard double room costs 340 euros. There are also several Paradores that exceed 200 euros, although most range between 100 and 150 euros per night. But there are a total of 29 where we can spend the night for less than 100 euros.

In addition, there are discounts for people over 55 years of age and for Amigos de Paradores (registered users). Of all the Paradores, seven of them are the cheapest. Two are in the cities of Ceuta and Melilla, both from 75 euros per night, while the following are on the peninsula.
