As RG was told in the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, employees of the department verified the illegal activities of the former First Deputy Prosecutor of the Republic of Bashkortostan Oleg Gorbunov, Deputy Head of the Oversight Department Investigative Activities and Criminal Procedure. of the Prosecutor’s Office Artur Sharetdinov.
Among the defendants in the criminal case were the former prosecutor of the Sovetsky district of Ufa Ramil Garifullin, lawyer Rashid Safeev, deputy of the local government of Ufa Vadim Ramazanov, head of a commercial organization Feim Mukhitov.
The investigation found that Oleg Gorbunov and Artur Sharetdinov, “acting as a group of persons by prior agreement, through the mediation of the above-mentioned persons, received a bribe of 10 million rubles from the first deputy head of the Ufa administration for the cancellation of the decision to initiate a criminal case on the illegal actions of officials of the Ufa City District Administration in the implementation of the specific regional program for the resettlement of citizens from the emergency housing stock.
Then this decision of Gorbunov was canceled by the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation.
The court found the defendants guilty of receiving and giving large and especially large-scale bribes, as well as mediation and attempted mediation by giving a bribe.
Gorbunov received 17 years in a strict regime colony and another fine of 40 million rubles. He was also banned for 12 years from holding positions in state and law enforcement agencies “related to the exercise of the functions of representative of power.” Gorbunov was also deprived of the class rank of “State Councilor of Justice of the third class.”
One year less: 16 years of strict regimen received Garifullin. He still has to pay a fine – 25 million rubles. In addition, the ban on holding positions in state and police agencies for 12 years and the deprivation of the class rank of “Senior Justice Counselor”.
Sharetdinov was sentenced to 8.5 years in prison. The fine from him is 20 million rubles. After serving his sentence, he cannot work in the police and state forces for 5 years. He was also deprived of the class rank of “Senior Justice Counselor”.
Safeev was sentenced to 8 years in prison, plus a fine of 10 million rubles.
Mukhitov – for 7 years in prison with a fine of 20 million rubles, Ramazanov for 5 years with a fine of 8 million rubles. They will serve their sentence in a strict regime colony.
