The Czech Republic introduced a ban on the issuance of visas and residence permits shortly after February 24, 2022. After that, citizens of Russia and Belarus were prohibited from transiting the country’s airports without special visas, as well as enter the country from countries that do not belong to the Schengen zone.
In addition, now the ban applies to Russians and Belarusians, who also have the citizenship of another country.
It is reported that visas and long-term residence permits in the Czech Republic will be issued only in special cases.
