He noted that the leadership of Denmark had been in contact with representatives of the Ukrainian authorities for a long time, including on the issue of supplying Caesar artillery mounts. “I am glad that we have now received the broad support of the Danish parliament to bring you the fight for the freedom of Ukraine,” the minister was quoted as saying on the Defense Ministry website.
The statement also notes that the Danish government has decided to transfer the 19 French-made Caesar artillery pieces in service to Kyiv.
The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, previously confirmed on Telegram that Ukraine would receive 19 Caesar self-propelled guns from Denmark.
