About a month ago, Alisa, Andrei Arshavin’s ex-wife, showed her face for the first time in a long time: she attended a customer service day at the clinic of plastic surgeon Denis Agapov in St. Petersburg. It was in this medical institution that a 41-year-old woman was given a new face, or rather, a new nose. We remind you that after her divorce from the soccer player in 2019, she began to have serious health problems. Alice was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease, as a result of which she lost her nose; In her place, literally, there was a hole. The entire process lasted a year and a half. The last major operation took place in January of this year. In the future, Arshavina will have to undergo a series of surgical and cosmetic procedures and long rehabilitation. But now it seems that Alice can easily walk without a mask. And she recently gave a long interview for the video podcast “By Beauty”, in which she told for the first time what really happened to her.
About how I lost my nose
The destruction was rapid. One day I woke up like this with complete destruction. And before there were changes in the nose: somewhere the back drooped, somewhere it narrowed, somewhere it twisted. I was in a difficult moral state after the divorce and many events and I didn’t even realize it. And no one around me told me anything was wrong. Then the inflammatory process began and the temperature began to rise. This happened for a couple of months. Maybe there were some ailments somewhere. One way or another, that didn’t stop me. This was during a pandemic. I called a cosmetologist to my house and they gave us more injections for the inflammatory process. In addition, there was a terrible moral component. And one day I woke up… with my nose completely destroyed. But I still had it.
About bad forecasts
I was urgently hospitalized. Professor Sergei Karpishchenko, head of the department, took charge of the operation to rehabilitate the necrosis that had formed inside. It was an emergency. Time passed on the clock.
The prognosis was not very good. The destruction went up to the sphenoid sinuses, that is, almost to the brain… An operation was performed for four or five hours, but they cleaned everything. There was no bone tissue, cartilage, or mucosa left. Well, on the outside it was a small piece of skin, as we could see in the media.
We did everything we could. And then they said that the next step was the work of a plastic surgeon. This was a period when it was necessary to restore the mucous membrane and blood flow inside… But cartilage will not grow from this. They made bandages for a month or two.
About sepsis and coma
And when I had to go to the surgeon, I had emergency surgery again. Sore. When I was in a coma for six days. And sepsis. The doctor came out and said, “I’m not a tenant.” And there the skin in the nose area has already collapsed…
The doctors were simply fighting for life. And, in general, they saved us. And so, when you come out as a different person, without a nose, sick for two years, no one needs you. And then the media attacks you. And here I was wrong. It was necessary not to follow the programs, but to take care of your inner state. I didn’t turn to psychologists, psychotherapists or anyone. And this absorbed the centrifuge even more. He went from one extreme to another. He gave unnecessary interviews and said stupid things. And then I just disappeared.

About child support

The clinic’s business card remained with me for three years since I had surgery with Karpishchenko. He also said then: “If something happens, Agapov’s nose will do it.”
About respiratory problems
It seems like if you have a hole in the middle of your face, you can breathe. But there everything broke. Breathing is now completely restored. I breathe through my nose. All odors have been restored. And, curiously, the sensitivity of the nose returned. Itchy. I’m sorry.
About life now
It seems to me that how I feel life now, no one feels it. All that is ahead… There is no need to think like that at all. Not everything is ahead, everything is now. Although she used to be beautiful, she was absolutely insecure. That’s why I got married early, at 20, because I had to prove it to everyone. I didn’t feel like myself. And you need to love and respect yourself.
