The currently finished version of Dune: Part Two runs for 3 hours and 15 minutes. This does not mean that the released version is that long. However, this gives an idea of the scale of the image. WorldofReel reports it, citing sources.
For comparison, the first Dune, released in 2021, was 2 hours and 35 minutes long. A three-hour version of the sequel is playing at test screenings. According to Rebecca Ferguson, who played the role of Lady Jessica, the second part of Dune was better than the first.
“I say this without having seen the sequel in its entirety. Based on what I read, what I saw and what scenes I starred in,” the actress shared.
“Dune 2” will tell about the union of Paul Atreides with the Fremen for the sake of the war against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista and Josh Brolin return to their roles. Florence Pugh, Léa Seydoux, Christopher Walken and Austin Butler were cast in new roles. The film will be released worldwide on November 3.
Previously, the series “Dune: The Sisterhood” had a director change. The cast also changed: Olivia Williams and Jodhi May joined him. We talk about it in more detail here.
