The Erarta Museum of Contemporary Art will show an exhibition by the Swiss-Italian artist Yuri Catania. The exhibition will feature 50 photographs taken in his garden at the foot of the Alps and Palm Springs in California.
Beginning his career as a fashion photographer, he has worked with Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Philipp Plein, Ermanno Scervino, and La Perla, as well as international publications such as Vogue Italia, Numéro Paris, iD, and Love. In parallel, Catania became involved in his own creative projects, experimenting with various directions and techniques.
In 2013, the author’s works attracted the attention of a French curator – he organized the artist’s first solo exhibition in Paris. Since then, Juri Catania has been dedicated to fine art photography and mixed media creation. He began to actively master the artistic language of three-dimensional graphics, painting and collage, as well as exploring the creative possibilities of artificial intelligence.
You can visit the exhibition from January 26 to May 28, 2023. Tickets are available through the link.
As a reminder, Erarta currently houses an exhibition of Soviet movie posters. The exhibition awaits guests until February 26, 2023. More details can be found here.
