The defeat of SKA from Minsk “Dynamo” at the beginning of the series was a real surprise. But the correct conclusions were drawn from the failure, and already in the first term, SKA removed almost all the questions.
In the 13th minute, Vasily Glotov took the lead for St. Petersburg, three minutes later Svyatoslav Grebenshchikov scored, and Igor Ozhiganov brought the score to 3:0.

A little later, the Canadian striker scored a brace. In the second half, Kazan responded to Kirill Vorobyov’s puck with Alexander Radulov’s goal.
In the 32nd minute, a fight broke out on the ice, started by Radulov. The active participation in the fight was in charge of two players from each team, who received a total of 32 minutes of sanction by the referee. 17 of them won Radulov.
