Loro Piana has shown the campaign for the new autumn collection. The shooting took place against the backdrop of Inveraray Castle in Scotland. The estate belonged to Torquil Campbell, 13th Duke of Argyll. The photographs were taken by Mario Sorrenti. WWD writes about it.
Scotland is the birthplace of the cheviot, a woollen fabric. It was here that Loro Piana first discovered the virtues of the thistle flower, which has been part of the brand’s coat of arms since 1951.
“Loro Piana is the story of an incredible family. And for the advertising campaign I wanted to preserve this spirit in the images, always with a sophisticated lightness and timeless elegance,” said Sorrenti.
Previously, Loro Piana launched a new Into the Wild line for outdoor activities. The first delivery includes anoraks, windbreakers, bomber jackets and waterproof parkas. We talk about it in more detail here.
