“Complexes for automated control of military air defense means “Magistr-SV” are being mass-produced, the first batch of vehicles has already been transferred to the customer,” a TASS source said.
Recall that the “Magistr-SV” complex is a unified module on the chassis of the BMP-3, equipped with external and integrated means of reconnaissance and coordination of air defense. Its main element was a unique optoelectronic station with functions of automatic detection, reconnaissance and tracking of air targets.
The small-sized radar detector included in the complex combines the functions of a surveillance radar and the high accuracy of measuring coordinates inherent in radar tracking systems.
The “Magistr-SV” complex significantly increases the capabilities of military air defense in the fight against high-precision weapons and multipurpose drones.
