Yana Rudkovskaya and Evgeni Plushenko are raising two common children. The eldest, 9-year-old Sasha (Dwarf Gnomych), the producer gave birth to herself. The youngest, two-year-old Arseny, was brought in by a surrogate mother. Yana and Eugene always dreamed that a girl would also appear in their family. And the long-awaited daughter could well have been born, if not for a tragic accident. In the new episode of the Secret to a Million show, Yana said that she and her husband had lost her daughter.
Initially, the youngest son of Rudkovskaya and Plushenko was supposed to have a sister. The surrogate mother was implanted with two embryos: a boy and a girl. But only one embryo took root – a boy, and the couple had a son.
“I asked the doctors why. They told me that our girls are weak, and the boys are strong, ”Yana said.

Star parents do not lose hope. In the near future, they will try surrogacy again, and this time they want a girl. Yana said that they approached the choice of a surrogate mother very responsibly. The main conditions were good health and previous experience. The woman received a monthly “stipend”, in addition, they paid her the cost of renting an apartment and food. Moreover, Rudkovskaya and Plushenko paid for their services even more than the average price, which starts at a million rubles.
Modern technology is an opportunity for many parents to have a long-awaited baby. But this method also has its drawbacks. Yana and Evgeny admitted that they did not immediately “turn on” the parental instinct in relation to the newborn Arseny; not everything was the same as in the case of the birth of Sasha.
“I wanted a child to be ours, joint,” Eugene said. – It was my son right away. A story, when you caress your belly and see how an arm or a leg sticks out. Here it turned out differently. But today I am happy. This is my son, my son.”
Recall that Rudkovskaya and Plushenko got married in September 2009. Yana admitted that during the years of their life together, she and Eugene quarreled only twice, and both times the quarrel was started by the athlete. The producer also talked about the children. Yana’s eldest sons Andrei and Nikolai (from marriage with businessman Viktor Baturin) study at MGIMO. Plushenko’s eldest daughter, Sasha, does well in school, but due to her extensive sports training, she only attends class once or twice a week. The rest of the time, the son of a star couple is engaged in tutors. The youngest son, Arseny Rudkovskaya and Plushenko, have also put on skates: the boy is training with his father.
