The incident occurred in the early hours of Friday, January 6. Investigators from the Investigative Department of Eastern Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia are establishing the cause of the glass damage.
“Currently, 263 passengers are waiting for departure at the Novosibirsk airport, 71 of them are children,” the ministry said in a statement.
An investigation is ongoing. Based on its results, a case for violation of air traffic safety can be initiated.
