Afshin Gaderzade is officially recognized as the shortest man in the world.
He is from the Iranian Bukan, and at 22 years old he measures only 64.7 centimeters.
Previously, the Guinness Book of Records considered the Colombian actor Edward Niño Ercandes, who is now 34 years old and his height is 70 centimeters, as the smallest person on Earth. Ercandes’ record stood for almost 10 years.
Afshin’s father says his son was born prematurely and at the time of birth the baby’s weight was only 700 grams.
The boy, due to his physical characteristics, did not go to school, he even learned to write his name quite recently.
Afshin is not at all proud of entering the Guinness Book of Records. His main dream is to live an ordinary life, the life of an ordinary person.
“I really love studying and I dream of being a doctor. I also want to get paid, have my own house, car. There are so few things in life that I can do and I want to live a good and fulfilling life,” she says.
Now Afshin is studying and spends a lot of time on the Internet. It is also known that he is a fan of the Iranian football club Esteghlal.
