We continue to present the heroes of special operation “Z”, participants in military operations in the zone of special military operation. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character and completed combat missions. His determination, assertiveness and combat experience are highly appreciated by the Russian Ministry of Defense. Our heroes thwarted attacks and prevented nationalist counteroffensives, for which they received state awards. But they are not useful for praising. The military is confident that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.

“CAUGHT” A SATELLITE IN BATTLE

“The senior mechanic of the communications company, Corporal Ubush Bekbusinov, during a special military operation ensured communication between the command post of the battalion tactical group of the Russian Armed Forces and subordinate units. When the enemy advanced towards the BTG positions, the satellite station was damaged as a result of artillery shelling, as a result of which communication within the group was disrupted. Realizing that the loss of communications in battle actually deprives the group of clear and coordinated control, Corporal Bekbusinov personally, despite the ongoing bombardment, quickly repaired all damage and reconfigured the satellite communications station, as a result of which communications were restored. As soon as communication was restored, the artillery teams received the coordinates of the firing positions of the Ukrainian militants, which contributed to the destruction of the enemy’s military equipment and manpower. Corporal Ubush Bekbusinov’s selfless actions on the battlefield made it possible to reestablish control of the battalion’s tactical group and ensure stable communications, which made it possible to launch a counteroffensive and defeat the Ukrainian militants in an important tactical direction.”

“The motorized rifle company under the command of Lieutenant Alexei Kireev was tasked with taking up defensive positions and preventing Ukrainian militants from advancing towards an important populated area. Having organized the defense, Alexey, together with his subordinates, stopped the enemy’s advance for several days. During the next attack, a group of armed militants tried to bypass the positions occupied by Russian motorized rifles from the flank. Instantly assessing the situation, Lieutenant Kireev quickly changed position and personally attacked the enemy machine gun crew with selective small arms fire. Finding himself separated from the main forces, the enemy, realizing the futility of further resistance, laid down his arms and surrendered. Alexey took the detained militants to the checkpoint, where during interrogation they gave information about the location of enemy reserves. The competent management of the unit by Lieutenant Alexei Kireev, as well as the courage and dedication of his subordinates, made it possible to improve the tactical position of the Russian troops in this direction and prevent a defense breakthrough.
