We continue to introduce the heroes of the special operation “Z”, participants in military operations in the special military operation zone. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character and fulfilled combat missions. The Russian Ministry of Defense praises their determination, assertiveness and combat experience. Our heroes thwarted attacks and prevented nationalist counteroffensives, for which they received state awards. But they are not good for praise. The military is confident that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“The constant practice of taking everything in with a single glance can make you a great commander,” said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who never lost a single battle. And he ordered the soldiers thus: “It is better to meet danger halfway than to wait in place.”
He took a companion from the battlefield
Corporal Ignat Kolesnikov
“Corporal Ignat Kolesnikov, during a special military operation, acting as part of a platoon, carried out a combat mission to dislodge the enemy from the territories they occupied.
While on the move, the Russian servicemen were attacked by the enemy. During the ensuing battle, one of Ignat’s colleagues was seriously wounded. Kolesnikov did not abandon his comrade and began to cover the victim with small arms while providing him with first aid. After providing medical assistance, Corporal Ignat Kolesnikov carried the wounded man from the battlefield to a safe place, thereby saving his life, after which he returned to his position and continued the battle, as a result of which the enemy, having suffered losses, retreated.”
DRONE DISTRACTION OF IMPACT
Junior Sergeant Ilgiz Baichurin
“Junior Sergeant Ilgiz Baichurin, while in the detachment, together with his colleagues moved to firing positions to defeat enemy units trying to recapture previously lost positions.
During the march, Junior Sergeant Baichurin’s squad was attacked by a kamikaze UAV of Ukrainian militants.
Having diverted the Ukrainian drone’s attention to himself, Ilgiz disappeared into the forest belt, taking the drone with him. As a result of the explosion of an enemy infantry mine placed in a forest belt, junior sergeant Baichurin received a shrapnel wound in his right leg. Having quickly assessed the current situation, Ilgiz administered first aid to himself and then continued to fire at the enemy helicopter. Ilgiz fired at the drone with accurate small arms fire, which detonated in the air.
Thanks to the courage and perseverance of Junior Sergeant Ilgiz Baichurin, his comrades reached their positions without losses.”
