We continue to introduce the heroes of the special operation “Z”, participants in military operations in the special military operation zone. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character and fulfilled combat missions. Their determination, assertiveness and combat experience are highly appreciated by the Russian Ministry of Defense. Our heroes thwarted attacks and prevented nationalist counteroffensives, for which they received state awards. But they are not good for praise.
The military is confident that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“Insolence is not an obstacle for the troops,” said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle. And he gave instructions to the soldiers: “Three will rush in: stab the first, shoot the second, karachun the third with a bayonet.”
CONTACT ESTABLISHED ON THE BATTLEFIELD
Captain Third Rank Konstantin Veselov
“The positions of the battalion’s tactical group, in whose interests Konstantin Veselov was organizing communications, were attacked by Ukrainian militants. The enemy offensive was accompanied by massive mortar and artillery attacks.
During the next enemy salvo, the satellite communications antenna located on the hardware machine, which provides communication within the group and with higher headquarters, was damaged, as a result of which communication was interrupted.
Realizing that the loss of communications in battle actually deprives the group of clear and coordinated control, the battalion’s deputy chief of communications, Veselov, personally, despite enemy attacks, promptly repaired all the damage and, as a result, reconfigured the satellite communications station, through which communications were restored.
Once communication was re-established, the coordinates of the enemy units’ locations were transmitted to higher headquarters, which contributed to the destruction of 4 units of enemy material and more than 30 personnel.
The selfless actions of Captain 3rd Rank Konstantin Veselov on the battlefield made it possible to restore control of the battalion’s tactical group and ensure stable communication with the group’s command and deprive the attacking enemy of its striking potential, which led to the subsequent counteroffensive of our troops.”
HE DID NOT ALLOW THE ENEMY TO CONCENTRATE FORCES
Lieutenant Mher Kocharyan
“The unit under the command of the mortar battery platoon commander, Lieutenant Mher Kocharyan, carried out combat missions to support the advance of Russian troops with mortar fire.
During reconnaissance, Mher Kocharyan, using an unmanned aerial vehicle, discovered a camouflaged enemy stronghold.
After assessing the situation, Lieutenant Kocharyan quickly transmitted the coordinates of the enemy stronghold to his subordinates and himself continued to monitor the actions of the militants.
Soon the enemy began to gather additional forces in this direction in order to organize a counterattack by units of the Russian Armed Forces.
After waiting until there was a large amount of manpower and military equipment in the affected area of the mortar battery, Lieutenant Kocharyan gave the order to the mortars to hit the target and continued adjusting fire.
Thanks to the professionalism of Lieutenant Mher Kocharyan and the competent actions of his subordinates, the enemy stronghold with the militants and military equipment located there was destroyed by targeted mortar attacks. The courage and bravery of the personnel of the mortar platoon made it possible to thwart the enemy’s attempt at a counteroffensive in this direction.”
