With private soldiers, sergeants, corporals and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character and accomplished combat missions. His determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Ministry of Defense of Russia, in the police units of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, receive the highest marks.
Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counter-offensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for the sake of praise and awards. The military is sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.

DURING THE WEEK, THE PLOT OF NATIONALISTS IS INTERRUPTED
Guard Sergeant Denis ZHANCHIPOV
“Sergeant Denis Zhanchipov, commander of the detachment, commander of the guard combat vehicle, acting as part of a battalion tactical group of Russian troops, carried out a combat mission to liberate one of the settlements from the armed formations of Ukrainian nationalists. Moving around the city, Denis discovered a group of militants who were in an abandoned building. Properly distributing the forces of his subordinates, Denis attacked the nationalists. During the short-lived battle, Zhanchipov personally destroyed as many as 5 nationalists. As a result of the fighting, the settlement was liberated from the Ukrainian radicals.
A few days later, with the support of artillery, aviation and heavy equipment, the nationalists tried to regain control of the settlement by launching a counterattack in the defense sector of the platoon, which included Sergeant Zhanchipov’s guard squad.
In the course of repelling the attack, Denis Zhanchipov destroyed more than 6 enemies with small arms fire, preventing the nationalists from breaking through in the defense sector.
DESTROY ENEMIES PREPARING THE AMBUSH
Guard Corporal Dmitry CHERKASHIN
“During a special military operation of the guard, Corporal Dmitry Cherkashin, as part of the crew of a combat vehicle, performed the tasks of evacuating personnel and covering columns of automotive equipment during their movement. During the delivery of the wounded to one of the field hospitals, Dmitry discovered a group of armed nationalists. Cherkashin, together with his senior car, decided to take part in the battle with the militants. During the clash, the enemy group was destroyed by dense fire from the crew, after which Dmitry continued to move and delivered the wounded servicemen to the field hospital.
Thanks to the professionalism and combat experience of Guard Corporal Dmitry Cherkashin, the successful completion of the task was ensured, the lives of the evacuated servicemen were saved.
