Lieutenant Artur Dzemishkevich and junior sergeant Vadim Gazin

We continue to acquaint you with the heroes of the special operation “Z” – participants in the hostilities in the Donbass. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals, and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character, and completed combat missions. His determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Ministry of Defense of Russia, in the police units of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, receive the highest marks.

Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counter-offensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for the sake of praise and awards. The military is sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.

“Whoever surprised, won,” said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle. He also taught: “The fortress is strong, the garrison is a whole army. But nothing can stand against Russian weapons – we are strong and self-confident.”

HOMES NEUTRALIZED IN THE PATH OF THE TROOPS

Junior Sergeant Vadim Gazin

“Junior Sergeant Vadim Gazin, as part of a group of Russian servicemen, carried out the tasks of clearing the area, searching and destroying explosive objects near one of the settlements. Moving along the route, Vadim found camouflaged land mines in a section of the road. The group proceeded to mine the stretch of highway. The enemy tried to attack a group of Russian military engineers. Despite the ongoing shelling, the group neutralized all land mines laid on the way, after which Junior Sergeant Vadim Gazin, skillfully maneuvering in difficult terrain, led the group of engineers on a truck to a safe area. The courage and dedication of Junior Sergeant Gazin allowed the group to complete the assigned tasks without loss.

LEADING THE FIGHT OF THE WOUNDED FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF

Lieutenant Artur Dzemishkevich

“The unit, which included Lieutenant Artur Dzemishkevich, carried out a combat mission to drive Ukrainian nationalists out of the occupied territories. On the outskirts of the militants’ positions, the enemy opened fire on the Russian military with artillery and mortars, after which the enemy infantry entered the battle.

During the battle, the armored personnel carrier of Lieutenant Dzemishkevich was hit by several enemy shells, as a result of which part of the crew received shrapnel wounds. Artur himself received a shrapnel wound in the temporal region, however, despite the wound, he took the wounded servicemen out of the wrecked armored personnel carrier, hid them in a safe place and gave them first aid.

Continuing the battle, Artur found a Nationalist fire spotter in an equipped position in the forest belt. Instantly assessing the situation, Arthur transmitted the coordinates of the observer’s position, after which an artillery strike was launched on him.

For another hour and a half, Lieutenant Dzemishkevich, together with his subordinates, repelled the attack of the militants until reinforcements arrived. After the arrival of the reinforcements, the nationalists, unable to contain the advance of our troops, having suffered losses, abandoned their positions and withdrew.
