Soldiers, sergeants, corporals, and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character, and completed combat missions. His determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Ministry of Defense of Russia, in the police units of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, receive the highest marks.
Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counter-offensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for the sake of praise and awards. The military is sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.

HE REPELLED THE ATTACK OF THE NATIONALISTS

“The squad leader, Sergeant Ivan Anisimov, acting as part of a battalion tactical group of the Russian Armed Forces, carried out tasks to defend the area from armed formations of Ukrainian nationalists. The enemy tried to break through the defensive lines and attacked the positions of Russian military personnel. In the course of a defensive battle, with dense enemy artillery and tank fire against a platoon stronghold of Russian troops, Ivan, acting as part of the calculation of an infantry fighting vehicle, inflicted fire damage on the nationalists. In battle, acting decisively and courageously, Sergeant Ivan Anisimov destroyed an enemy all-terrain vehicle of foreign production, as well as a large number of enemy manpower, with aimed fire. The enemy, having received a determined rebuff and having suffered losses, withdrew.

Private Rinat Basharov
“Private Rinat Basharov, acting as part of a group of Russian military personnel, performed the tasks of ensuring the safe passage of a column of military and special equipment of Russian units. Advancing along the forest belt adjacent to the route, Rinat discovered a sabotage and reconnaissance group of nationalists armed with small arms. Having assessed the situation and informed the main forces of the column about the impending ambush, Rinat, using the surprise effect, was one of the first to attack the Ukrainian militants. Having suddenly attacked the enemy, a group of Russian servicemen stopped their actions. During the battle, skillfully using regular weapons, Rinat Basharov destroyed two armed radicals with aimed fire. As a result of the battle, the nationalists, having suffered losses, abandoned their positions and retreated. The bold and decisive actions of Private Rinat Basharov ensured the movement of the special team column to the assigned area without loss.”
MEANWHILE
The Russian Ministry of Defense launched the VIII information and propaganda campaign “There is such a profession – to defend the Motherland!”.
Until March 1, military-patriotic shows will be held in cities and large settlements with an exhibition of military equipment, small arms, communications equipment, equipment of military personnel, as well as demonstrations of various units. Mobile selection points for military service under contract will also be implemented, at which everyone can be tested and write an application to enter into a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
Illustrated exhibitions and courage lessons will be held for students of educational institutions. During thematic meetings, graduate students will be told about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the benefits of studying at military universities, the procedure and rules for entering them, as well as the features of contract service.
The action, among other things, is aimed at informing graduate students of general educational institutions, senior students of Suvorov and Nakhimov schools and the cadet corps of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, conscripted military personnel and contracted on the peculiarities of admission and training in the military universities of the country.
