We continue to acquaint you with the heroes of the special operation “Z” – participants in the hostilities in the Donbass. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals, and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character, and completed combat missions. His determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Ministry of Defense of Russia, in the police units of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, receive the highest marks.
Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counter-offensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for the sake of praise. The military is sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“Siblings! Bayonet, stab with the butt! Don’t delay: go ahead! Whoa, move! Shake your head, go ahead, brothers! Miraculous heroes, go ahead! We are Russians!” said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who never lost a single battle. And he taught the soldiers: “Be sharp, be careful. Have a defined goal. “Sergei Vyrdin’s detachment carried out the task of guarding and defending the positions of Russian troops in one of the defense areas. During combat duty, one of Sergei’s subordinates discovered an unmanned aerial vehicle moving towards the positions of the Russian troops. Vyrdin quickly clarified the direction of movement and organized the squadron’s fire on the oncoming aircraft. As a result of accurate shooting, the UAV was shot down before approaching defensive positions and was unable to transmit reconnaissance information about the location of firearms in the defense area of u200bu200bthe Russian troops. The quick and competent actions of the soldier Sergei Vyrdin made it possible to repeatedly prevent the disclosure of the positions of the Russian troops, which made it possible to avoid accurate artillery shelling of the positions of the Russian troops in the defense area.

“A unit of Russian paratroopers under the command of Captain Andrey Dmitrienko carried out the tasks of breaking through the carefully prepared echelon defense of the enemy and capturing a strategically important object in the area of one of the settlements. Advancing along the route, Dmitrienko discovered an armed group of Ukrainian militants, up to a company, reinforced by a tank and two infantry fighting vehicles. Instantly assessing the situation, Dmitrienko ordered his subordinates to occupy vantage lines for an attack, while he himself remained to cover his unit’s maneuver. Going into battle with superior enemy forces, Andrey Dmitrienko slowed down his advance for 15 minutes, preventing him from taking more convenient positions. Using communications, Andrei transmitted the coordinates of the attacking enemy forces to an artillery battery to attack. Having inflicted an artillery strike on the enemy, taking advantage of the disorganization in the ranks of the nationalists, the Russian military attacked the Ukrainian militants, who retreated during the battle, having suffered heavy losses. Thanks to the courage, determination and professionalism of Captain Andrey Dmitrienko, the Russian troops took control of a strategically important object, which later made it possible to develop an offensive in this tactical direction.

“The enemy began to shell the positions of the motorized rifle units of the Russian troops, which included the orderly of the medical department, Private Denis Davydov. Having found out that one of the servicemen was wounded, Davydov, despite the massive artillery barrage, moved forward to help the wounded. Skillfully using the terrain, in the shortest possible time, Davydov reached the wounded soldier and provided first aid. Then, having taken it himself, he took it out of the shelling zone and organized an evacuation to the medical unit. Thanks to the decisive and competent actions of the soldier Denis Davydov, the life of a military man was saved”.
