We continue to introduce the heroes of the special operation “Z”, participants in military operations in the special military operation zone. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character and fulfilled combat missions. Their determination, assertiveness and combat experience are highly appreciated by the Russian Ministry of Defense. Our heroes thwarted attacks and prevented nationalist counteroffensives, for which they received state awards. But they are not good for praise. The military is confident that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“Do not fight with numbers, but with skill,” taught Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who never lost a single battle. And he told the soldiers: “Die yourself, but help your comrade.”
PRECISELY HIT DRONES ON THE FLY

“While monitoring airspace in a given sector, Alexander Makarov discovered an unidentified unmanned aerial vehicle over Russian positions.
Alexander took the target as an escort and when the enemy UAV entered the affected area, he destroyed the enemy helicopter with small arms.
After the drone was eliminated, the unit quickly changed its position. Some time later, the initial position of our units was hit by an artillery attack by the militants.
Thanks to the professional use of personal small arms and the ability to fire at fast-flying aerial targets, Private Makarov saved the lives of his comrades.
During his stay in the area of the special military operation, soldier Alexander Makrov personally destroyed three enemy unmanned aerial vehicles.”
SAVED COMPANIONS AND FOLLOWED THE ORDER
Guard Lieutenant Ivan Rusinov
“Several engineering and road groups of the Russian Armed Forces, one of which was led by Guard Lieutenant Ivan Rusinov, carried out tasks at night to equip mine barriers in one of the areas dangerous for tanks.
One of the groups was discovered by the enemy. It was subsequently attacked with the help of a swarm of drones and kamikaze mortars, as a result of which servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces were seriously injured.
Lieutenant Rusinov’s group of guards immediately came to the aid of their comrades. Ivan, in full combat gear, while under enemy fire, personally carried the group commander and one soldier to a safe place, after which he returned to the mission area. Under enemy mortar fire at night, Ivan made sure that the group placed more than 40 mines in the most threatened direction.
Thanks to the decisive actions, courage and heroism of Guard Lieutenant Ivan Rusinov, as well as the high professionalism of his subordinates, the group managed to strengthen the defense line of the Russian units and prevent losses among personnel.”
