We continue to acquaint you with the heroes of the special operation “Z” – participants in the hostilities in the Donbass. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals, and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character, and completed combat missions. His determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Russian Ministry of Defense give the highest rating.
Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counter-offensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for the sake of praise. The military is sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“Fight not by numbers, but by skill,” taught Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle. And he told the soldiers: “You die, but help a comrade.”

“Senior Guard Lieutenant Ivan Zharsky and Guard Sergeant Igor Ovsyannikov, as part of the calculation of the anti-tank complex, carried out the tasks of destroying tanks and other armored targets of the enemy. Acting as part of a tactical group of Russian Marines, Ivan and Igor carried out tasks to keep one of the key settlements under the control of the Russian Armed Forces. Skillfully using the terrain, the ATGM crew secretly took up a firing position in a dangerous direction for tanks. Armed formations of Ukrainian nationalists, using their numerical superiority in manpower and equipment, attempted to recapture a strategic object. In conditions of damage by fire from enemy mortars, artillery and UAVs, Ivan Zharsky and Igor Ovsyannikov competently changed firing positions and destroyed military equipment of Ukrainian militants with accurate fire for several hours. The enemy tried four times to break through the positions of our units, but each time was repulsed by the Russian marines. With fire from anti-tank weapons, Ivan Zharsky and Igor Ovsyannikov destroyed 8 units of enemy equipment, as well as a large number of militants. The enemy, having suffered significant losses, withdrew to their original positions, without having succeeded.
