Soldiers, sergeants, corporals, and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character, and completed combat missions. His determination, assertiveness and experience in the Ministry of Defense of Russia, in the police units of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, are highly appreciated.
Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counter-offensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for the sake of praise and awards. The military is sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“God have mercy, we are Russians! Let’s crush the enemy! And the victory over him, and the victory over deceit will be a victory!” – said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle. “The platoon commander for the support of the guard rocket artillery division, Senior Warrant Officer Vitaly Voloshchuk, carried out combat missions to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of ammunition and materiel to the positions of the Russian troop group.
The enemy, in an attempt to disrupt the supply of our units, and thereby deprive the advancing Russian troops of fire support, opened fire with the use of artillery and mortars on the convoy, which included Voloshchuk.
Acting courageously and professionally, Vitaliy drove the car with ammunition to a safe area, excluding its defeat by militant artillery, chose the best route of movement, secretly delivered the cargo to the positions of the jet battalion, which fought with the nationalists. Thanks to the professional skills, courage and determination of Senior Warrant Officer Voloshchuk, the gunners timely completed the task of providing fire support to the advancing Russian troops and, as a result of fighting the battery, destroyed the towed D-30 . howitzer of the Ukrainian nationalists”.
RESPONDED TO THE OFFENSIVE OF MILITANTS ON THE CITY
Senior Sergeant Vladimir BEREZIN
“In the course of conducting defensive operations in the area of a strategically important settlement, the crew of an airborne combat vehicle under the command of Senior Sergeant Vladimir Berezin performed the task of holding the positions of Russian units at the entrance from the city. Armed formations of Ukrainian militants attempted an offensive to retake the settlement and attacked the Russian paratroopers with superior forces. Being at the front, Berezin timely discovered the movement of equipment and personnel of the nationalists, took an advantageous position and entered the battle. The professional use of combat capabilities of weapons and military equipment, the competent choice of the position for firing and surprise allowed Senior Sergeant Berezin and his crew to destroy the armored car of the nationalists, the machine gun crew, and also the squad of Ukrainian militants during the battle. Thanks to the professional and selfless actions of Senior Sergeant Berezin, the enemy was detected in a timely manner and suffered significant losses in manpower and armored vehicles. The settlement remained under the control of the Russian Armed Forces.”
