We continue to acquaint you with the heroes of the special operation “Z” – participants in the hostilities in the Donbass. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals, and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character, and completed combat missions. His determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Ministry of Defense of Russia, in the police units of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, receive the highest marks.
Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counter-offensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for the sake of praise and awards. The military is sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“The sign of fools is pride, mediocre-minded people are pettiness, and a person of true virtues is sublimity of feelings, covered with modesty,” said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle. And he gave instructions to the soldiers: “Three will jump: the first will be stabbed, the second will be shot, the third the Karachun bayonet!”.

“In the course of a special military operation, the Chief of Staff, Ensign Ainur Iskanyarov, ensured stable and uninterrupted communication and information exchange within the battalion tactical group of the Russian Armed Forces. Ukrainian nationalists, in an effort to drive our troops out of their positions, attacked the area where the Russian BTG was located using multiple rocket launchers. As a result of the militants’ shelling, fragments of the American-made MLRS projectile damaged the components and assemblies of the satellite communication station. Realizing that the lack of communication would deprive the command of the ability to quickly coordinate the actions of the forces in battle, realizing that he was in mortal danger, Iskanyarov moved towards the damaged product and began to restore it. Under fire from the militants, Ainur assessed the nature of the damage and promptly replaced the damaged items, after which he reconfigured the station. The disinterested performance of the communications soldier and his high professionalism allowed the troop group’s means of communication to be reestablished as soon as possible, which made it possible to transfer the coordinates of the enemy MLRS positions to the artillery crews. Enemy rocket systems were suppressed by Russian artillery fire.”

“Senior Warrant Officer Ilya Vasiliev, as part of the tank crew, repeatedly participated in driving Ukrainian militants out of strategically important settlements and their fortified defense areas. In combat, acting as a gunner, he destroyed more than five enemy armored vehicle units. In one of the battles, Senior Warrant Officer Ilya Vasiliev performed the task of detecting fortified enemy positions. Having approached the minimum distance to the nationalist defense line, Ivan opened fire on long-term fortified positions where the nationalists and their armored vehicles were located. As a result of the accurate fire of the Russian tank crew, the enemy was knocked out of the occupied line of defense, having suffered significant losses in manpower, armored vehicles and anti-tank weapons. Accurate and competent actions of Senior Warrant Officer Ilya Vasiliev allowed the Russian troops to take advantageous positions and develop the offensive.
