We continue to acquaint you with the heroes of the special operation “Z” – participants in the hostilities in the Donbass. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals, and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character, and completed combat missions. His determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Ministry of Defense of Russia, in the police units of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, receive the highest marks.
Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counter-offensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for the sake of praise.
The military is sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“If you love hot, be capable of cold,” said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who never lost a single battle. He also believed that: “It is more necessary to overcome the unpleasant news than the pleasant ones for comfort.”
Senior Ensign of Guards Mustafa Seitvaapov
HE TAKEN THE COLUMN UNDER THE FIRE
“A platoon under the command of Senior Guards Warrant Officer Mustafa Seitvaapov carried out a combat mission of 24/7 logistic support for brigade units fighting near one of the settlements. Advancing towards the positions of the Russian troops, the convoy with ammunition, fuel and lubricants, led by Mustafa, came under fire from the artillery of Ukrainian nationalists. Maintaining composure and calm, Seitvaapov, despite the incessant impact of enemy fire, organized the departure of the fire column without loss of personnel and equipment. The courageous and decisive actions of Senior Ensign of the Guard Mustafa Seytvaapov did not allow Ukrainian nationalists to disrupt the supply of Russian troops to the front line.
Sergeant Mikhail Gladilin
REFLECTED THE ATTACK OF THE ENEMY GROUP
Sergeant Mikhail Gladilin
“Sergeant Mikhail Gladilin, as part of a battalion tactical group of the Russian Armed Forces, carried out tasks to maintain an object of strategic importance. Waging fierce battles with the nationalists, Gladilin, in the conditions of incessant enemy fire, transmitted information about enemy targets to artillery units. During the next barrage, the radio station received shrapnel damage from a shell that exploded nearby, as a result of which Russian military personnel for some time lost the opportunity to adjust the fire. Despite the threat to his own life, Gladilin immediately moved to the damaged communications equipment to restore its functionality. During the repair of the radio station, Mikhail discovered that an enemy group was approaching. Not lost in a difficult combat situation, he secretly moved to a more vantage point for an unexpected attack and hit three Nationalists with a hand fragmentation grenade and destroyed the rest with small arms. Having repelled the group’s attack, Mikhail restored the radio station’s working ability and continued to conduct fire adjustments. The bold and decisive actions of Sergeant Mikhail Gladilin on the battlefield made it possible to repel the enemy attack and push it back to its original positions.
