We continue to acquaint you with the heroes of the special operation “Z” – participants in the hostilities in the Donbass. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals, and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character, and completed combat missions. His determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Ministry of Defense of Russia, in the police units of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, receive the highest marks.
Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counter-offensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for the sake of praise and awards. The military is sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“Suspicion is the mother of wisdom,” said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who never lost a single battle. And he also warned: “In the office they lie, but in the field they hit you.”

“Private Roman Saprunov was recently called up as part of a partial mobilization. After recycling and coordination classes, he ended up serving in the artillery battalion, where he began carrying out ammunition delivery tasks.
The enemy, putting up fierce resistance, fired artillery at the division’s positions, where the parking of Russian military and automotive equipment was located. Instantly assessing the situation, Private Roman Saprunov, realizing that a shell hitting a car with ammunition would cause a powerful explosion capable of destroying a large number of the division’s manpower and equipment, drove the car to a safe area. .
Carrying out fire-fighting maneuvers, Private Saprunov was able to get the car with ammunition out of enemy fire to a safe place. Thanks to the courage, courage and selfless actions of the soldier Roman Saprunov, the destruction of a large amount of military equipment and ammunition was prevented. For the courage and heroism shown in the performance of a combat mission, the soldier Roman Saprunov was awarded the medal “For Courage”.

“Arms commander Konstantin Tokar was recently called up as part of a partial mobilization. After retraining and exercises, he was posted to an artillery unit, where, as part of the calculation, he began performing artillery support duties for Russian motorized rifle units advancing on Ukrainian nationalist positions. During the offensive, the enemy’s fortress was destroyed by the first artillery strikes from the gun of Sergeant Major Tokar. Having carried out an anti-fire maneuver, Konstantin quickly deployed the gun in a new position and hit the area where the military equipment and personnel of foreign mercenaries were concentrated. As a result of artillery strikes led by Konstantin Tokar’s subordinates, the militants opposing the Russian units significantly lost their combat capability and were forced to abandon their positions. Thanks to the professionalism, courage and bravery of Senior Sergeant Tokar, the task of advancing the Russian troops into the depths of the enemy defenses was completed.

The second Cathedral Christmas Choir, which has already become traditional, was held on January 15 at the Templo Mayor de las Fuerzas Armadas RF. The guests of the event were parishioners of the Main Temple of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, military personnel of the Ministry of Defense of the RF, incl. participants in a special military operation in Ukraine undergoing treatment and rehabilitation.
Six choirs participated in the program: the choir of engineering troops “For Faith and the Homeland”, the choir of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Airborne Troops, the choir of the Aerospace Forces, the choir of cadets of the Military Institute ( military directors) of the Military University. Prince Alexander Nevsky of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Preobrazhensky and chamber choirs of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the Solba choir of the Nikolo-Solbinsky Convent.
The main purpose of the solemn event is to get acquainted with the centuries-old traditions of Orthodoxy, Russian spiritual musical culture, return to the ideology of serving the Motherland through the development of liturgical singing culture, including in places of military service.

In the Cathedral Square of the temple, the winter festival continues, which has already been visited by more than 195 thousand people. Opposite the temple there is a skating rink with an area of 5.5 thousand square meters and the longest tubing, about 60 meters long. The first Cathedral of the Nativity Choir, blessed by Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus, was held for the first time on January 15, 2022.
