In August last year, the TV presenter was reviewed by the UK on behalf of the head of the department, Alexander Bastrykin. The reason was Sokolova’s Russophobic statements.
He then expressed his position on the need to kill Russians at the national level. In his speech, he openly expressed threats against representatives of the Russian people, “pointing to the need for their merciless destruction,” the UK reported. Bastrykin, in connection with this, ordered to start a criminal case.
“The basis for the search: wanted under the article of the Criminal Code,” says the card in the database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, but the article under which Sokolova is wanted is not specified.
