The judge of the National Court Francisco de Jorge has admitted to processing the Prosecutor’s complaint against the former president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) Luis Rubiales for the crimes of sexual assault and coercion in relation to the kiss he gave to the player Jenni Hermoso after the World Cup final in Sydney.
The magistrate has issued an order this Monday in which he initiates preliminary proceedings and transfers the complaint to Rubiales so that he has “full knowledge of the alleged facts” and can exercise his right of defense.
