“It is forbidden to use the Russian language within the walls of the ‘Kyiv-Mohyla Academy’ National University,” RIA Novosti was quoted as saying.
Ka Zubko clarified that not only teaching in Russian is prohibited (it is not carried out for a long time), but also personal communication between students, teachers and staff of the academy. Last Friday, this rule was enshrined in the internal regulations of “Mogilyanka”, she added.
Recall that last year the Ukrainian authorities decided to ban the performance of Russian music in public places, as well as on radio and television stations, and restricted the importation of Russian books into the country. In addition, a ban on the use of the Russian language was introduced in various regions of the country.
