According to the captain of the Astoria Grande, Denis Pavlyuk, on the eve of the port authorities completed the inspection of the ship’s hull and its mechanisms and, having confirmed serviceability, gave permission for mooring.
“The weather conditions have changed for the better. The team is doing everything possible to ensure the comfort and safety of the passengers,” he said.
In total, 668 people are on board the ship along with the crew on this trip.
As previously reported by RG, a Russian cruise ship crashed into the pier of the port of Amasra.
The departure of the boat to the next port on the route in the city of Ordu is scheduled for today. Arrival in Sochi is also scheduled for January 21.
Remember that winter cruises from Sochi to Turkey began on December 17, 2022. Next spring they plan to launch sea cruises to Egypt.
