Streaming service Netflix has revealed the cast for the sequel to the acclaimed series “Squid Game.” A video appeared on the platform’s YouTube channel showing the players in green tracksuits. Among them was last season’s winner Song Gi-hoon, played by Lee Jong-jae.
The show’s creator, Hwang Donghyuck, previously said that in the second part, the character will seek revenge against the game’s creators. To do so, he will be participating in the game again.
Following the success of the first season, Donghyuck became the first Asian director to win an Emmy for creating a drama series. And Jonjae received an award for best play.
The second season premieres on December 26. Netflix also announced a third season. We discuss it in more detail here.
