The sisters wrote a letter to Santa Claus, in which they wished to be on board a military helicopter and receive a teddy bear as a gift. The children’s dream was fulfilled by the acting commander of the Air Defense Forces, Major General Alexei Rtishchev.
“In Khabarovsk, at the airfield, the girls were already waiting for the Mi-8amtsh transport and assault helicopter, as well as the military who gave them a tour of this model of military equipment,” the press service of the military district reports.
Lisa and Olya were shown the cockpit layout and given pilot helmets to try on. At the end of the meeting, they were presented with a huge teddy bear and a musical instrument.
