The Russian Defense Ministry denied reports from individual sources about the alleged dismissal of officers from the 1st Donetsk and 2nd Luhansk Army Corps after they became part of the Russian armed forces.
“From January 1, 2023, the personnel of the 1st Donetsk Army Corps and the 2nd Guards Corps of the Lugansk-Severodonetsk Army in full force with equipment, weapons and materiel are included in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. At the same time, we emphasize that the information about the alleged dismissal of officers from these army corps after they were accepted into the Russian armed forces is absolutely false,” the Russian Defense Ministry stressed.
It should be noted that recently the Ukrainian special services have become more active in spreading lies about the Russian army. They fabricate several orders signed by the generals of the Russian army, DPR or LPR, which speak of fantasy events that do not actually occur.
The military department officially assured that not a single order of the Ministry of Defense of Russia on the dismissal of servicemen of the 1st Donetsk Corps of the Army and the 2nd Guards Corps of the Lugansk-Severodonetsk Army “does not exist or be has issued”.
“All servicemen of these formations, accepted into the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation since January 1 of this year, adequately and selflessly carry out combat missions as part of a special military operation,” the military department noted. .
