As RG already wrote, the educational program for high school students in the life safety course presents two options, one of which is basic and contains the usual sections on safety at home, in transport and others.
In another, in particular, there is a separate module N9 – “Elements of initial military training.” Here and exercises, and a military salute, and an infantry weapon, and the rules for handling it. Students in grades 10-11 will learn how to provide first aid and become familiar with personal protective equipment. There are also modules on the basics of defending the state and countering extremism and terrorism.
As RG was informed at the Ministry of Education, each school will be able to independently choose a more suitable variant of the human safety course for itself. The ministry also noted that a separate “NVP” course is being developed, but for extracurricular studies.
In the section that refers to the course of history, the results of the study of the subject are detailed. For example, in grade 11, a student must understand the importance of Russia in the world political and socio-economic processes of 1945-2022, learn about the achievements of the country and its people, and also understand the causes and consequences of the “collapse of the USSR, the rebirth of the Russian Federation as a world power, the reunification of Crimea with Russia, a special military operation in Ukraine and other important events of 1945-2022”.
On life safety, history, geography, Russian language, literature and social sciences, until January 1, 2023, the Federal Programs for Basic General Education will be approved.
The primary education and basic school programs are also approved – from grades 1 to 9.
