The Ministry of Justice included human rights activist Svetlana Gannushkina* and Roskomsvoboda in the list of foreign agents

The Russian Ministry of Justice has updated the register of foreign agents. The human rights activist Svetlana Gannushkina was included in the list (recognized as a foreign agent in Russia. – Approx. BURO.). RBC writes about it.

The public project “Roskomsvoboda” and the organizations “Feminist Resistance Against War”, “LGBT Sports Community” and Anti-Corruption Foundation Inc. also entered the register. – a US-registered legal entity of the Anti-Corruption Foundation (recognized as extremist and prohibited on the territory of the Russian Federation. – Note BURO.).

In addition to them, the list included the former editor-in-chief of Novaya Gazeta and political scientist Andrei Kolesnikov, the former host of the Maximo program on the NTV channel and video blogger Gleb Pyanykh, as well as the journalist Meduza (recognized as a foreign agent in Russia.- Approx. BURO. ) and the ex-editor of “Such cases” Anastasia Zhvik.

Earlier, rapper Miron Fedorov, who uses the pseudonym Oxxxymiron, as well as activist Irina Storozheva and human rights activist Alena Popova, were recognized as foreign agents. Read more here.
