The court says that the artist is seeking payment for his assets “directly and indirectly (through private individuals).”
The list includes 7 plots of land, a house and a dwelling, 2 cars and 4 devices “for firing ammunition.”
In addition, the Ukrainian Ministry of Justice wants to strip Povaliy of his ownership rights to the music and lyrics of eight musical works.
In February, Ukraine’s Prosecutor General’s Office charged Povaliy in absentia with supporting Russia.
Povaliy was elected to the Rada from the Party of Regions and holds the title of People’s Artist of Ukraine, which she received in 1997.
