This is the third case of a rocket or its fragments falling on the territory of Moldova during the conflict in Ukraine. In October, fragments of a missile allegedly fired from a Ukrainian S-300 air defense system were found in Moldova.
Remember that at the end of December, the Belarusian air defense forces shot down a Ukrainian S-300 missile. Its fragments were found in an agricultural field near the village of Gorbakha (Brest region). In connection with the state of emergency, a strong protest was expressed to the Ambassador of Ukraine in Belarus. As reported in the Ministry of Defense of Belarus, the department considers a provocation by the Armed Forces of Ukraine as one of the versions of the incident. As a result of the emergency, no one was injured, unlike the incident with the fall of a Ukrainian rocket in eastern Poland in November, where two people died.
