On August 26 and 27, the Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve, near the palace of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich, will host the Harvest and Kolomensky Apples events. The program includes performances by folk ensembles and jester theater, as well as museum classes and master classes.
In the lesson on postcards of the 19th century, young visitors will be able to find out what they depicted on postcards at different times, learn how to date cards, get acquainted with the concepts of “collage” and “composition” and create their own postcard. And in the master class “If you put your soul into it, you can do anything”, children will have the opportunity to make a bell doll with their own hands.
In addition, workshops on how to weave wreaths of dried flowers and how to make an apple-shaped bag, one of the main symbols of the museum-reserve, will be held in Kolomenskoye on the last weekend of summer.
