Passage over the bridge was blocked from 1:00 p.m. on January 20 for repair and restoration work. It was planned to open the traffic at 18:00, but the builders managed two hours faster.
Traffic resumed today at 16:05.
Recall that at the beginning of December, the repair of the right side of the Crimean bridge, which was the most affected as a result of the terrorist attack on October 8, was completed. The four spans destroyed were built and replaced in record time.
After traffic was allowed on the repaired section, restoration of the left side of the bridge began. You also need to replace four bays. The work goes on all day.
The first two spans on the left side were installed on January 10 and 14. Two more sections are planned to be installed in February.
