“The vice president’s blue and white plane has broken down. Kamala Harris will return to the United States from Germany on a C-17 support aircraft,” the Bloomberg journalist said.
The US Vice President’s Press Group later confirmed that Harris would return to the United States aboard a military transport plane that had brought support personnel, security, and vehicles from Harris’ motorcade to Germany.
“The White House did not explain what the problem was caused by the change, which was decided at the last minute,” the press group said in a statement.
