The poetry workshop “The Power of Words” has started at the Fabrika creative industries centre. The first meeting will take place on 21 September at the Library of Personal Encounters. It will be curated by poetess Anna Malkovich.
The workshop will host regular meetings and elective courses for poets and anyone interested in writing poetry. Plans include “poetic plein airs”, meetings with contemporary poets, joint writing of poems using the author’s methodology and using art therapy, analysis of works with feedback.
The poetry workshop “The Power of Words” will become part of a partnership program in which “Factory” supports non-profit initiatives and projects in the “Library of Personal Collections”. The curator of the poetry workshop, Anna Malkovich, is a poetess, author of the podcast “Oh, Wonderful Subtle World” about the life of modern poets and artists, owner of a poetry salon and organizer of creative evenings.
Recall that on August 16, the creative industries center “Factory” and the Joseph Backstein Institute of Contemporary Art announced the project “Waves, Streams, Fields, Clouds.”
