The “Karo Oktyabr” cinema will host the premiere screening of the psychological thriller “Predators” by Spanish director Rodrigo Sorogoyen. The film was presented at the Cannes Film Festival. About this writes “Afisha Daily” with reference to the organizers.
The painting is named after the Rapa das Bestas festival, which is popular in several Spanish regions. Its Galician title is “As bestas” and its Russian version is actually a literal translation.
In the psychological thriller there is a story about the confrontation between “us” and “them”. The story has a pronounced conflict between an urban couple who came to the town in search of a better life and the town’s locals. The main roles of the film were played by Marina Fois, Denis Menoche, Luis Saera, Diego Anido, Marie Colomb and other actors.
“Before letting their horses return to the mountains, local horse breeders cut their manes to remove parasites from the animals. This action, at once beautiful and cruel, is reminiscent of a fight and a dance in which man and animal face each other until one of them wins,” wrote the film’s distributor, Capella Film Company.
Earlier, the film “Cheburashka” set a new box office record on the first day of its release. The last disc belonged to “The Last Bogatyr”. Read more here.
