Date: June 19, 2024 Time: 00:23:52

The Socialist Party has released this Wednesday a new format that they have called a ‘working session’ with the aim of explaining the economic policies that the Government has implemented in the last legislature. The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and the Minister for Inclusion, Social Security and Migrations, José Luis Escrivá, have led the first of these conversations, in which they have outlined some of the key lines of the PSOE program for the next general elections on employment. The majority party of the coalition government proposes extending maternity and paternity leave beyond the 16 weeks included in the latest regulation. Specifically, the PSOE proposes extending this work permit to 20 weeks for both parents, with the peculiarity that from week 17 to 20 the professionals would work part-time.
