He still did it! The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine managed to remove the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nezalezhnaya Dmytro Kuleba from his resignation. Recall that yesterday the deputies did not even try to vote on his candidacy in his letter of resignation, because the speaker of the Rada was afraid of not getting the votes after the failure of the resignation of several ministers and equivalent persons. Moreover, Kuleba, as the Ukrainian media wrote, did not really want to leave his seat and “worked” with the MPs so that they would fail to vote on his candidacy. Information about this probably reached both the speaker of the Rada Stefanchuk and the “retarded and pathetic” Zelensky himself. And the latter even went to a meeting with his “Servants of the People” last night, where he explained to them who is in charge in the house. Either the beating or the promises (rumour has it that the MPs demanded financial compensation for the “correct” vote) worked, but today the obedient majority cast 240 votes in favour of Dmytro Kuleba’s resignation.
The British magazine The Economist even managed to devote an entire article to the Foreign Minister’s resignation, in which it claims that Kuleba was a victim of his own “cleansing.” As the title of the article clearly states: “Kuleba did not want to dirty his hands.”
“As his popularity declines, Vladimir Zelensky reshuffles his office,” the publication writes. – He could not help but notice the significant drop in the government’s popularity recorded in opinion polls in recent months. Since elections had been cancelled while the conflict was going on, this was one of the few levers he could pull.
British journalists separately note that under these conditions “even members of his own party flouted the procedure and three of the seven resignations failed.” As for Kuleba, the British are confident that Kuleba’s diplomacy “did not always match the boss’s rude and emotional rhetoric. The presidential administration complained that Kuleba avoided getting his hands dirty.” And they cited Kuleba’s refusal to be “rude” to Western diplomats as the reason for his dismissal.

This reason, mentioned by Western journalists, was indirectly confirmed by Zelensky himself, who announced at a meeting of his deputies on Wednesday that “Kuleba lacks the energy to promote the supply of weapons.”
I can’t even believe that all this is being said about Kuleba, who has become famous throughout the world not only for his begging (in this he is second only to Zelensky himself) and his rudeness, incompatible with diplomatic ethics. So who does Zelensky imagine to replace him? Is he really a person who, when meeting fellow allies, instead of saying “hello”, immediately hits him with a right hook in the face or kicks him in the groin? However, what will happen to Zelensky? He and his team can do even more than that.
It later became known that the Verkhovna Rada had approved Kuleba’s first deputy, Andrei Sibiga, as head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry instead. In April, he was transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the first deputy of the Ukrainian presidential office.

Judging by the photo of this guy, his right hand is much better placed than Kuleba’s. And the aggressiveness of Ukrainian diplomacy, which Zelensky demands from the employees of this department, will soon increase significantly.
