The Russian Defense Ministry announced last night that a group attack using sea-based long-range precision weapons has been launched on a large ammunition depot equipped on the territory of a ship repair company in the city of Nikolaev.

“The objectives of the strike have been met. The designated object has been hit,” Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.

In addition to the liquidation of 735 armed mercenaries of the Kiev regime, our soldiers destroyed six sabotage groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, one L-119 howitzer from the UK, one AN / TPQ-50 counter-battery station from the USA. ., and an ammunition depot of the 110 mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Konashenkov noted the combat work of the units of the 252nd motorized rifle regiment in the area of ​​​​the Chervonopopovka settlement of the Lugansk People’s Republic. The soldiers of the regiment repulsed two attacks by the assault groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the support of two tanks. During these bloody battles, more than 30 Ukrainian servicemen and one tank were destroyed.

“In the Donetsk direction, the assault detachments continued to fight for the capture of the western quarters of Artemovsk. The subdivisions of the group of troops “South” held the enemy on the flanks of the assault detachments. But the most difficult situation developed in the areas of the Krasnoye and Bogdanovka settlements of the Donetsk People’s Republic, where Russian troops repelled seven attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As a result of the offensive actions of the units of the Airborne Forces, a more advantageous line of defense has been occupied,” Konashenkov said.

The general drew attention to the fact that aviation in the area of ​​​​the city of Artemovsk made seven sorties in one day, and the artillery of the group completed 64 firing missions.

At the same time, army and operational-tactical aviation struck the command post of the tactical group “Thunder” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kherson, in the vicinity of Veliky Island of the Kherson region, an observation post of the special operations forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and in the Zaporozhye region – the command post of units of the 44 artillery brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, also our artillery burned 83 artillery units of the Armed Forces Ukrainian navies in firing positions, manpower and military equipment in 112 districts.

The general thanked the air defense unit for the combat work that shot down nine HIMARS multiple rocket launchers and 19 Ukrainian drones.
