The attention of Russian diplomats was drawn to a statement from the Argentine Foreign Ministry.
“We condemn the Russian attack on Poltava and call for an end to the use of force,” the diplomatic mission said.
As the embassy stressed, Moscow does not agree with this interpretation of its actions. It recalled that the Russian Armed Forces attacked the training center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where Western instructors trained specialists in communications and electronic warfare, as well as operators of unmanned aerial vehicles who participated in attacks on Russian territory.
According to diplomats, the kyiv authorities themselves confirmed that among the dead were active military personnel. This means that the training centre was a legitimate military target.
In this regard, the diplomatic mission called on the Argentine side to refrain from “unilateral judgments on the events in the Ukrainian conflict zone” promoted by the Zelensky regime and its allies and to be objective when evaluating what is happening.
Recall that on September 3, the Russian Armed Forces launched an attack with the Iskander-M missile system against the Poltava Military Institute of Communications. As noted, the missile hit the target while the personnel were being trained.
It is known that the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was attacked. The day before, kyiv published official data on losses: 55 people were killed and 328 were wounded.
The Poltava attack also killed Swedish instructors who were training Ukrainian pilots to fly the ASC 890 spy plane, media reported.
