The Russian National Guard taught bravery lessons in schools and orphanages in Donbass

Within the framework of the regional campaign “Rosgvardiya with the Lugansk region”, servicemen and employees of the department conducted bravery lessons in more than 150 educational institutions in Donbass. The soldiers donated books telling the history of Russia to the district library.

– The Russian Guard provided humanitarian aid to orphanages and nursing homes, to 34 families and citizens who found themselves in difficult situations. We participated in the repair of the boiler room in one of the villages, updated the thermal insulation of communications, checked the equipment and repaired leaks in the roof of the premises, the press service of the Russian Guard reported.

In addition, the National Guard repaired and improved six memorial sites of the Great Patriotic War and also assisted five front-line veterans and front workers.

A day earlier, Russian Guard servicemen participated in the opening ceremony of the second stage of the Saur-Mogila memorial complex near Donetsk to ensure public safety. At the foot of the memorial complex in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of Donbass, the opening ceremony of new monuments and a requiem concert took place.
