The sales of the owner of Zara rise by 13% to 7,600 million euros

The sales of Inditex, owner of the Zara, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius and Oysho brands, increased by 13% to 7,600 million euros. The net profit of the company increased by 54% to 1,200 million euros. WWD reports.

Pre-tax profit increased by 14% to €2.2 billion. The company’s inventory level was 5% higher than in the same period last year. In the new quarter, between May 1 and June 4, Inditex sales increased by 16%.

In addition, Inditex shares rose 4.6% this morning to 33.27 euros. This fiscal year, the group’s capital investments will be around 1.6 billion euros, including the introduction of Zara’s new store design with self-service areas and one-click collection points.
