Apple TV+ has renewed Presumed Innocent for a second season. The streaming service claims that the project has become the most-watched drama in the platform’s history. However, no data has been released on the number of viewers. The show premiered on June 12 this year and the release of episodes continues – the release of the last one will take place in ten days.
According to the release, the new season will focus on a completely new case. Apple has not confirmed whether Jake Gyllenhaal will return to his role; it will depend on the end of the first part.
Presumed Innocent is based on the novel of the same name by Scott Turow. Gyllenhaal plays Rusty Sabich, a prosecutor accused of murdering one of his colleagues. The cast also includes Ruth Negga, Bill Camp, Elizabeth Marvel, Peter Sarsgaard, OT Fagbenle and Renate Reinswe.
We remind you that filming for the third season of “Euphoria” will begin in January 2025. Almost the entire cast of the project will return to their roles: Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer and more.
