The State Duma is developing a bill that will increase the tax rate for Russians who have left the country. This became known from the statement of the Deputy Chairman of the Duma Vyacheslav Volodin: on the telegram channel he published the publication “A question of justice, or again about those who left.”
The politician does not agree that it is necessary to give preferences and benefits to those who emigrated from Russia to motivate them to return.
“It is completely understandable why they fled. The one who realized that he was wrong has already returned. The rest should understand: the vast majority of society does not support their act, they believe that they have betrayed their country, relatives and friends, ”Volodin writes.
He considers it incorrect that “to this day, those who have left not only work in Russian companies at a distance, but also enjoy all the benefits”. Therefore, it is necessary to abolish the preferences and introduce a higher tax rate. What are they working on?
Remember that in 2022, the State Duma passed 653 laws; this is a record for all years of camera work. A third of the laws adopted have a social orientation. At the end of the year, 1,319 bills remained in the legislative portfolio of deputies.
